Sad News from home



Sad news from home today. My Uncle John, was a massive influence, and inspiration died today. It wasn’t unexpected, but it’s always a shock.

I’d been able to speak to him pretty frequently while I’ve been away, and I urge you, if you love someone, tell them, and tell them often. I’m glad I did.

For a small, sleepy place…Moulins-Engilbert…  …has a very large church. It is… …rather… …lovely… …with lots to see… …beautiful… …carving… …and lovely old wooden pews. And as well… …as these lovely faces… …there are… …some glorious statues in the crypt. However, what most spoke to me was the war memorial… …including my hostˋs grandfather.
