I didn’t manage to find a Christmas decoration I liked everywhere I travelled, but I have a little something from San Francisco…

…and a little piggie from Thailand, who needs a bit of extra string before I can add him to the tree.

Lovely memories of all the kind people who looked after me so well. I hope to see you all again soon, and I wonder what 2025 will bring?

Return to Ronda

  The last few months have been a bit rough on the health front, so it’s been a delight to be on my travels again. First stop was glorious Ronda, staying in a hotel with it’s own cinema. A fantastic pizza was had… ….Christmas lights were admired… …a sunset revelled in… …but Ronda is all about the gorge (and bullfighting, Hemlingway and Orson Welles)… …and the amazing bridges. Corbigny past and present

  ItË‹s still too damn hot, but I managed a trip out to Corbigny, where there is a lovely toy shop… …interesting mediaeval bits and pieces… …fun shop signs… …a great place to drink coffee and watch the world go by… …suitably mad French cars… …and baffling street furniture… …and a chilling reminder that not that long ago, people like you and me were taken away and annihilated. Remember them, never forget, never again.
